Q: What are your office hours?
A: We’re open Monday–Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. We are also open on most Saturdays 8 am to 12 pm. Same-day appointments are often available for sick visits.
Q: How do I schedule an appointment?

Q: Do you take walk-ins?
A: We encourage scheduling ahead, but we do our best to accommodate urgent needs. Please call before coming in so we can prepare for your child.
Q: Where are you located? Is there parking?
A: Our clinic is at 2525 S. King St. Ste 308, above Down to Earth. Parking is available behind the building and is free for two hours.
New & Expecting Parents
Q: Are you accepting new patients?
A: Yes! We welcome new patients, including newborns.
Q: Do you offer prenatal visits?
A: Yes—we offer complimentary prenatal consultations for expecting parents. It’s a great chance to meet us, tour the office, and ask questions.
Q: What should I bring to my baby’s first visit?
A: Please bring your baby’s hospital discharge paperwork, any feeding records, your insurance card, and photo ID.

Q: What ages do you see?
A: We care for children from birth through young adulthood.
Q: Do you give vaccines? What is your policy?
A: Yes, we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics immunization schedules. Vaccines are one of the best ways to keep your child healthy.
Q: Do you complete school, camp, and sports forms?
A: Absolutely. Please allow 3–5 business days for form completion.
Q: How do I request medication refills?
A: Call your pharmacy first—most requests come directly to us electronically. Please allow up to 48 hours.

Q: Do you accept my insurance?
A: We accept most major insurance plans, including Quest. Please call us if you’d like to confirm.
Q: What if I don’t have insurance?
A: We offer self-pay rates and can discuss payment options with you.
Communication & After Hours
Q: How do I reach a doctor after hours?
A: For urgent matters, you can contact us via Physician’s Exchange at 808-524-2575.
Q: How soon will my messages be answered?
A: Phone and portal messages are typically returned within 1 business day. Urgent concerns should always be called in.
Common Parent Questions
Q: My child has a fever—what should I do?
A: Fevers are common in children and usually not dangerous. You can read more about fevers here. If your baby is under 2 months or your child looks very ill, call us right away.
Q: How do I know if I should go to the ER or call the clinic?
A: If your child is struggling to breathe, is unresponsive, or you are very worried, call 911 or go to the ER. For other urgent concerns, call us first—we’ll guide you.
Q: How can I prepare my child for shots or a check-up?
A: Be honest, stay calm, and bring a favorite toy or blanket. We’ll walk you and your child through every step to make the visit as comfortable as possible.
