Meet our pediatric 'ohana!

I am from Kailua, O’ahu and graduated from Punahou School. I majored in history at Yale University and attended A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona before completing my pediatrics residency at the University of Hawaiʻi.
Returning home to care for children and families is a great privilege and ongoing source of inspiration. Building meaningful relationships with families is the foundation of promoting children’s health, and I am grateful for the opportunity to create a trusting and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, playing music, and watching and playing sports.

Board-eligible Pediatrician
I was born and raised in Kalihi and graduated from Saint Francis School before earning my bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Occidental College. I returned home to complete the ʻImi Hoʻōla Post-Baccalaureate Program and my medical degree at the University of Hawaiʻi John A. Burns School of Medicine, followed by my pediatrics residency at Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women and Children. Pediatrics is my passion—I love helping children grow up healthy and supporting families through every stage of childhood.
As a mom of two, I understand the joys and challenges of parenting and believe in working closely with families as partners in care.
As a Filipino-American, my culture is very important to me and shapes my values, including a deep love for community and family. I strive to honor and incorporate my patients’ family cultures and values into the medical care I provide, believing that understanding these is key to supporting a child’s health and well-being.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy going on nature walks, traveling to new places, and eating delicious food with my family.

Aloha, my name is Aubrey! I have been a pediatric medical assistant for 20 years and have been with Dr. Lim’s practice since 2005. What I love most about my job is the way patients and their families treat me like part of their own. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch our patients grow from newborns into young adults, and it’s even more special when some of our patients return to our clinic with children of their own.

Aloha, my name is KC! I've been working in pediatrics for many years and spent eight great years working alongside Dr. Lim before his retirement. I learned so much during that time and am grateful for the experiences and relationships I built. I'm now excited to continue caring for our patients with Dr. Kim and Kiyohara.
Working in pediatrics is incredibly rewarding for me. I love helping kids feel comfortable and cared for while supporting families along the way. Every day is different and I really enjoy being part of the Pueo Pediatrics team that makes a positive difference in children's lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, travelling, playing music and spending time with my family and friends.

Aloha! My name is Julienne, and I am excited to join the Pueo Pediatrics team as a new medical assistant. I was born and raised in Honolulu and grew up in the community of Kalihi. I graduated from Farrington High School, then went on to earn my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public health from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. I am passionate about community health, health education, and preventive care. My goal is to incorporate my public health background into clinical practice to help promote the health and well-being of patients and their families. I am truly honored to be part of this growing pediatrics office, and I look forward to supporting and getting to know all of you.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, trying new food places and cafes, attending concerts, traveling, and volunteering.
