Appointments

We do our best to accommodate same-day appointments for sick visits. Calling early in the day increases the chances of getting a convenient time. If more than one child needs to be seen, please let us know when scheduling the appointment - not during the visit itself.

Missed Appointments/No Shows

We offer courtesy reminder calls for scheduled physicals. Please arrive on time -- late arrivals may be rescheduled at the provider’s discretion.

School and Miscellaneous Forms/Letters

Please inform our staff before or during your child’s appointment if any school, sports, or other forms need to be completed. Standard forms may take 3-4 business days. Letters or special documentation may take 5-7 business days.

Phone calls & Emails

Our staff is available during office hours to answer questions, schedule appointments, and help determine if your child needs to be seen. Don’t hesitate to call with questions about your child’s health, development or nutrition.

For urgent medical concerns after hours, please call the Physician’s Exchange at 808-524-2575. They will contact your doctor who will return your call as soon as possible.

Non-emergent After-hours Care

  • Straub Benioff Medical Center Urgent Care: Kahala, Kapolei, Ward Village, Sheraton Waikiki

  • Queen’s Island Urgent Care: Kahala, Kapahulu, Kakaako, Pearl Kai, Ewa Beach

Emergencies

For serious or life-threatening emergencies, call 911 immediately -- do not attempt to transport your child yourself. For other urgent needs, we recommend going to Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children Emergency Department.

In the event of possible poisoning, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.
